Our Qualified Quran Teachers
Almuallim is built on qualified teachers — not just anyone with a Qur'an and a webcam. Every teacher is formally certified in Dars-e-Nizami, assessed for Tajweed accuracy, and experienced in teaching English-medium online classes to UK students.
Meet the Core Teaching Team
Every teacher at Almuallim is chosen for three things: formal qualification, proven teaching ability, and the skill to explain Tajweed and Islamic Studies clearly in English to UK students.

We also work with additional qualified teachers
The three teachers above are our core team. To keep class times flexible for students across different UK time zones, we also work with additional male and female teachers — all formally qualified, Tajweed-assessed, and English-medium.
How we verify our teachers
We don't just say our teachers are qualified — we check, and we tell you exactly what we check.
Formal certificates reviewed
Every teacher provides original certificates from recognised Islamic education boards, such as Tanzeem-ul-Madaris Ahl-e-Sunnat Pakistan.
Tajweed accuracy assessed
Each candidate recites live and is assessed on Tajweed rules, Makharij accuracy, and Qirat fluency before being approved to teach.
Teaching ability tested
Knowledge alone doesn't make a teacher. We test how clearly a candidate explains a concept, corrects a mistake, and keeps a student motivated.
English-medium instruction
Our teachers are experienced with UK students whose first language is English. Concepts are explained in plain English — not just Arabic terminology.
Parent feedback reviewed
After each month, we review parent feedback on every teacher. If a teacher consistently fails to meet our standard, they no longer teach at Almuallim.
Female tutors available
For sisters and young girls, we provide dedicated female tutors. Female-only classes are taught by Muallima Rabia Batool and other qualified female teachers, at no extra cost.
Tanzeem-ul-Madaris Ahl-e-Sunnat Pakistan
Our teachers' primary qualifications — including Dars-e-Nizami (Aalmia), Qiraat, Qirat and Hafiz Sanads — are issued by Tanzeem-ul-Madaris Ahl-e-Sunnat Pakistan, a recognised Islamic education board with a national network of affiliated madaris.
How our teachers actually teach
Every lesson follows the same structured approach — the same for a 5-year-old starting Qaida and an adult returning to Qur'an reading.
Free trial & level assessment
Your child's first lesson is a free trial. The teacher assesses current reading level, pronunciation accuracy, and any Tajweed gaps.
Personalised lesson plan
A plan is built around the student's level and pace — not a generic syllabus. Reviewed and adjusted as the student progresses.
Explain → demonstrate → practise
Teachers use PowerPoint for Tajweed concepts, then the student practises live during the Zoom lesson. Correction happens in real time.
Guided home practice
Between lessons, students receive short, clear practice tasks — typically 15–30 minutes of daily revision.
Progress reports to parents
Parents receive regular feedback on what has been covered, what needs revision, and what comes next.
Milestone celebration
Completing a Qaida level, a Juz, or a full Qur'an review is marked and celebrated. Motivation matters at every age.
